Mushroom - Free Pattern

Image
I can't be the only one who thinks mushrooms are adorable, especially the teeny tiny ones. I made my mushroom based on a fly agaric, which is native to the pacific northwest, but you can make it any kind of mushroom you want! This pattern goes well with my acorn pattern for a fun little fall theme. Mushroom Materials Yarn (I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic Solid yarn) Crochet hook (I used a 4.5mm hook) Safety eyes Tapestry needle Stuffing Stitch marker Scissors   Abbreviations (US terms) ch - chain sc - single crochet inc - increase dec - decrease hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet tc - triple crochet ss - slip stitch FLO - front loops only BLO - back loops only mc - magic circle (...) - repeat the part in parenthesis specified number of time (#) - number of stitches after finishing the round   Finished Size 4 inches tall. I love acorns, both looking at them and collecting them. Now you can have one that won't rot or fall apart! It doesn't take too long to make, either. Axolotl - Free Pattern

Image
Axolotls are so cute, so it only makes sense that they're popular right now. Since they're endangered and difficult to keep, it's illegal or impractical to keep them in a lot of places, so we'll have to make do with a crochet version! There's lots of different morphs out there for inspiration, or you can go nuts with whatever colour you want! Axolotl Materials Yarn (I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic Solid yarn) Crochet hook (I used a 4.5mm hook) Safety eyes Tapestry needle Stuffing Stitch marker Scissors   Abbreviations (US terms) ch - chain sc - single crochet inc - increase dec - decrease hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet tc - triple crochet ss - slip stitch FLO - front loops only BLO - back loops only mc - magic circle (...) - repeat the part in parenthesis specified number of time (#) - number of stitches after finishing the round   Finished Size 4 inches long, including the tail.
