Ferret - Free Pattern


Weasels are such fun, chaotic little creatures, especially silly little ferrets! Their slinky bodies, playful nature, and fluffy tails make them irresistible to any animal lover.

Materials

  • Yarn (I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic Solid yarn)
  • Crochet hook (I used a 4.5mm hook)
  • Safety eyes
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stuffing
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors

 

Abbreviations (US terms)

  • ch - chain
  • sc - single crochet
  • inc - increase
  • dec - decrease
  • hdc - half double crochet
  • dc - double crochet
  • tc - triple crochet
  • ss - slip stitch
  • FLO - front loops only
  • BLO - back loops only
  • mc - magic circle
  • (...) - repeat the part in parenthesis specified number of time
  • (#) - number of stitches after finishing the round

 

Finished Size

5 inches long. May be different for everyone based on yarn thickness, hook size, and tension.

 

Notes

Depending on your tension and technique, you may need to adjust the position of the legs by a stitch to get them in the right place. If it doesn't look quite centred, adjust!
