California Sea Lion - Free Pattern
The California sea lion may be noisy, but they're so cute! They're a lot of fun to watch both in and out of the water. With this pattern, you can make your own, quieter sea lion complete with tiny ears and little whiskers! I wonder what kind of sea lions live in the waters nearest to you?

Materials
- Yarn (I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic Solid yarn)
- Crochet hook (I used a 4.5mm hook)
- Safety eyes
- Tapestry needle
- Stuffing
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
Abbreviations (US terms)

3 inches long and 3 inches tall. May be different for everyone based on yarn thickness, hook size, and tension.

Fasten off and close the hole.
Muzzle:
Chain 3, sc 3 on the first side, then sc 3 on the other side. Ss to the first sc, then fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.Ears (make 2):

Attaching Parts
Sew the muzzle right between the eyes.
You can add whiskers if you'd like by using your crochet hook to tie a few brown threads through two of the stitches under the eyes. You can do this by putting your hook through under the stitch, then pulling up a loop of your whisker colour. Pull the two ends through the loop you made to tie them.
Sew the front and back flippers at a slight angle so they face outwards.
Sew the ears to the top of the head.
